Troubleshooting

[Device] does not seem to work/ is not working properly / is marked as “not connected”.
First verify that all cables are correctly plugged. exclamation-triangle Some devices require two or three cables to work properly.
If the problem remains, continue for further information on each device.

[Shuttle] If the Shuttle is correctly plugged and under power but the problem persists, please contact the Support.

[Printer] If the Printer is correctly plugged and on. exclamation-triangle Two cables are required for the printer to work properly check if you have enough paper.
If the printer is not working in the POS check your settings and make sure “Receipt Printer” box is checked.
If the problem persists, please contact the support.

[Scanner] If the scanner is correctly plugged make sure the language is correctly setup, the scanner’s language must be the same as your keyboard language. To setup correctly your scanner please follow the indications on the document named “Keyboard Country”.
If the scanner is calling an error in the POS but working, make sure the “Barcode Scanner” box is unchecked.
If the problem persists, please contact the support.

[Screen] If the Screen is correctly plugged exclamation-triangle Three cables are required for the screen to work properly check if the screen is up and on HDMI.
If the problem persists, please contact the support.

[Cash Drawer] If the Cash Drawer is correctly plugged make sure it’s not closed (with keys).
If the Cash Drawer is open but doesn’t react in the POS make sure the “Cashdrawer” box is checked.
If the problem persists, please contact the support
I have an “internal server error” when I try to reach my POS
Verify that the name you choose for the POS, is the name in your POS settings.In POS settings IP address should begin by the word you entered in the second step of the launching setup.
What are the internet requirements for HopHopHop?
You’ll either need WIFI network (strong and stable WIFI required) or a cabled network linked to the POS. If possible, you should contact your network administrator to know your IP range.
Can’t reach the POS/ Don’t have any internet connection
Verify that the fixed IP address you choose is not currently used/in the range of your DHCP
